Tomatoes -3 medium size
green chillies -3-4chopped
Urad dal -1/2tbsp
Chana dal -1/2tbsp
mustard seeds -1/2tbsp(optional)
cumin seeds -1/2tbsp
Curry leaves -1clove
Salt as required
Tamarind -1lemon size
Take tawa and add oil on low flame.
Add urad dal, chana dal, mustard seeds, curry leaves to oil. (I didn’t use mustard seeds)
Make it fry very well.
When dals changed to light golden color add green chillies and tomatoes and make them fry.
Stir and saute till the tomatoes soften about 6 to 7 minutes on low to medium flame.
Once tomatoes soften switch off the flame and make it cools.
Now add the mixer to blender and also add tamarind, cumin seeds, garlic and salt as per taste.
Blend the mixer well. You can add water for 1 to 2 tbsp if required to get smooth mixer.
You can serve this chutney in rice or breakfast.
